Since we began our trades many years ago we’ve noticed a growing disconnect of trust between customers and tradesmen, customers may have had bad experiences with cowboys impersonating trained professionals. This is sad, and not healthy for anyone.
There was a time you could hire a tradesman to do a job for you and the job would get done no questions asked. However nowadays you have to be a little more vigilant. Before choosing a roofer you think will fit your needs you should first, check their reviews, check their testimonials, possibly ask for references. You should ask questions like; Are they insured? Do they follow safety regulations?
If everything checks out then go ahead and hire the company but not before you’ve poked around a bit. We tell you this because so many times have we had clients call us to repair the work of a past roofing company, who have let the customers roof go to ruin.
